ABCittà provides skills and support for the design and facilitation of the entire route of a Living Library or to the trainig of groups of operators that intend to develop it independently.
Creating an Event
ABCittà provides coordination and facilitation of the process that allows to realize a Living Library event, in which human books meet readers.
The stages of the process, according to the ABCittà model, the establishment of a local promoter group, the identification of prejudice and the issue to be addressed, the training of the human books , the realization of the event, its communication and the evaluation of the entire process.
Training Professionals
ABCittà also offers basic training courses for social workers/professionals of public administrations , schools and other organizations wishing to build independently a Living Library event.
The training course sessions promote intercultural reading skills, the analysis of prejudice, the facilitation for the production of biographical narratives, the management of complex events and communication.
Accompanying Events
ABCittà offers consulting modules of the second level (in the presence or remote) to operators already trained for the instrument regarding:
The constitution of the promoter group (remote or in person)
The construction of human books (in person)
The definition of the cover title and fourth (remote)
The communication of events (remote)
The graphics for logos and all other necessary elements event (remote)
